1986 200Hp speedometer does not work

Is anyone know where the speedometer connected and how does it work?
I have the Seloc manual book and I did not find it.
The Tachometer works .

Speedo tubing connects to gearcase and there is a small hole on front edge of gearcase that is the pickup, probably need to clean out that hole and tubing.

That tubing could have been pulled loose or broken when the lower unit was last droped for water pump service...maybe drop lower unit to check tubing connections?

I just had my yami outboard at the shop for a water pump impellor replacement and the shop neglected to hook the tube back up and I was able to fish the tube out of the foot with a piece of solid copper wire and reconnect it.
