2007 f150 analog gauges-engine rough

The last two times Ive run my engine all is fine then the gauges go haywire and the engine runs rough and loses power. I stop the boat, switch batteries to off.
Then it will reset engine runs fine then it will happen again. I had to head back at reduced speed. Batteries test fine plentyof juice. Whats going on?

Bad battery cable connections is my thoughts, but you need to get it hooked up to computer to see what is going on for sure
