I have a 2004 Z200TXRA outboard. It started stalling out. after investigation, I found holes in the fuel line and lots of water in the system. I have since rebuilt the entire fuel delivery system, replaced all fuel filters, and installed a new VST pump and filter. Even on AV Gas, the boat will not run more than 45 seconds. While its running, it sounds great, but then it just shuts off as if I turned off the key. In addition, I checked the 2 diaphragm pumps on the block as well, and they were fine. Any Ideas?

Run a compression test to see if bad fuel damaged engine. Need to have it checked with computer diagnostic to see if has any fault codes and check high fuel pressure pump, may need high pressure pump and injectors rebuilt. -
If the weather holds up I have that being done today. Thanks for your response. The weird thing is that it runs perfect, then dies. Im thinking HP pump....I hope not though...Comment
