Twin F115 - both gauges read the same - off port engine

Hi:
I have brand new twin F115's and both gauges read the same value - the port engine rpm value. Gauges are Command Link round.

I tried (6 times) to re-set the engine numbers - but always the same result. Both gauges read the same. To re-set engine numbers, hold "SET" for 10 secs until "00" appears (which I see). Then shut key off. Wait 10 secs, then turn port on 1st and starboard 2nd. I've done this 6 times already.

If I shut the port engine off (starboard on), both gauges read "-".

Any suggestions?

double check both engine main buss to hub connections.\
you should have at least 2 hubs,one for port and one for stbd.
also look in the marine rigging book,2012 model, for the diagram that fits your rig.
