I have a 2004 Sketter bass boat with a Yamah 115 outboard motor. The power trim gauge does not move when the motor is being raised up or down .I am new to working on my boat but would like to learn any help would be appreciated.

I have had a few drinks so this might not make sense! If you look at the upper pivot point there is a plastic band with a phillips screw holding it in place the band is probably broke I think it is like a 1.50 to replace -
yes the band could be broke or the sensor itself seized, lube it with wd or any other lube, break it loose and grease it up well.Comment
