60 hp four stroke EFI starting problems

i have a 60 hp yamaha (about 2006 -2008 model) four stroke with EFI. I had it on the lake running around for a couple of hours, then took it in and filled the gas tank, let it sit overnight, ran for a few minutes while i pulled into a boat slip. Then, tried to start again and it won't. it appears to start and run for 1-2 seconds and then dies. Any suggestions?
