2004 225 hpdi smoking

My 225 hpdi does not smoke any on the initial start up but after it is run for awhile and then shut off for awhile it will smoke when it is started back up. Motor is left trimmed down while fishing so I don't know if this has something to do with it smoking or not. Motor seems to be running fine. I also use ring free in the gas. Any suggestions on what could cause this?

at the 20 hr service did the techs adjust back the oil pump linkage? theyre set rich for break-in. look at the pump, it has a circular stoip pin and the linkage should bottom out on the pin.

it looks like it does bottom out.
