I am new to forum, so apologize in advance for any mistakes made. Also for any ignorance displayed.
Have a 1986 two stroke 15 horse Yamaha 15EH outboard. Runs good--need a replacement propeller. I have the original owner's manual, which addresses the propeller by providing a diagram that sets out the following: (i) propeller diameter 9 1/4 inches; (ii) propeller pitch 9 3/4 inches; and (iii) "J" bushing.
Trying to find online. Boats.net does not offer any Yamaha or aftermarket propellers with these dimensions--closest they offer with this diameter is a pitch of 9 inches and a ptich of 10 inches--also one with 11 inches. Does this pitch difference matter, when compared to manual dimensions, and if not which size should I go with? Any thoughts appreciated.
