anyone on here have a diagram of replacing a water pump on a 2001 50 hp four stroke?

Sounds like you need to pick up a factory service manual or look through youtube to see if you can something on your motor.
If you look up the parts break down of your motor it will have a breakdown of where all parts are located in relation of each other
