Saltwater Series Tacho

I have a 2004, 200hp, 2-stroke (Saltwater Series II. The Yamaha digital tacho has died. It has the word "TACH" at top left, outboard tild 1-5 on the rhs and temp & oil at the bottom. BUT it has NO buttons at the bottom like most of the guages I've seen. I've been told by a Yamaha Dealer that my model is discontinued & threre's no replacement for it? A company in the US tells me that a 6YR-W0035-E1-00 (it looks the same but has 2 buttons below the screen) will work on my engine?
Can anyone confirm??

Yes the 6YR-W0035-E1-00 is for 1994-2005 motors and is still available, it is the kit including wire harness but is cheaper than just buying the tach by itself. Just make sure it's the "E1" part number as the "E2" number is for 2006 and newer motors.
