Hey guys, i need a hand with converting my 92 3 cyclinder yamaha 30hp from controls to tiller. I found a tiller arm on ebay and it has the handle where it mounts to the motor. The cables and shift rod assembly are there also. Do i need anything in particular where the cables from the tiller mount to the powerhead? I know i'll need 2 bolts where the tiller assembly mounts to the powerhead, but other than that i'm unsure of what i need. Can anyone help? Here's the tiller i'm looking at buying. This is off a 3 cylinder 97 model yamaha 25hp. I'm hoping it will work.

do you have the part number go up the the purchase engine parts section on top of this page find your engine in there.............. you can see what you need and if the part is the same.
but i would say that it is.......... didn't change that much -
I looked into that and it turns out they are a little different. I can buy a new kit for around $210 so that might be the way to go. Thanks for the advice.Comment
