  • 115 Yamaha warning buzzer

Upon starting the engine the warning buzzer imeadiately comes on. Oil level is full. After running for awhile the buzzer will eventually go off. The problem is it misses and runs rough while the buzzer is going off. I figure that I have a bad oil or temperature sending unit. Has anyone else had this problem?
Also can someone tell me the location on the engine of these two sending units.
Thanks in advance for any info.

Test the oil sensor in engine oil tank and test temp sensor on cylinder head, if you have the service manual they are easy tests.

        Yamaha 115 Oil Warning

I ave had te same problem since I bought the motor in 2003. My motor has checked out and I am now awaiting a visit by the Yamaha rep...stay tuned. Yamaha did tell me that you should not fill oil to top level. It should be filled between full line and add line.
