trim guage

i have a 2011 f 150 yamaha. i have a new in the box yamaha trim guage. the boat has yamaha tach and speedo and aftermarket fuel guage. of course the guage has 5 wires.

blue and black for light
yellow-key
black-ground
pink- trim Sender

under dash
off white connector with 4 wires the pink/red stripe hooks to tach.

(this connector is attached to a wire that has four conductors and runs to the engine.)

where does pink from guage attach.

thanks in advance i searched other posts and none fit my situation well enough to understand.

I would like to know as well

Only gauge not hooked up on my boat is trim. I found lots wires but really never knew which was which. My original was OMC and old owner dropped yamaha on there. All gauges are faria. If I could figure out the send hook that to my gauge and black to ground does it need power source?

Fixed it myself. Pink with red stripes. Now only problem is it starts at half and goes off the range. Guess I need to recheck sender. ???

Well!!! There is an adjustment. Found it!! Fixed it!!
Although it would be easier to adjust with 2 people 1 can do it.
