The new 4.2l engines don't have the hose-style threads on the dipstick tube to connect to an oil change pump. My fix is a short length of 1/2" I.D. tubing which easily slides over the dipstick tube but is snug enough to maintain suction. Another short length of 5/8" I.D. tubing connects the former to a female hose thread. After use, the 1/2" tubing slides off the dipstick tube easily.
