  • Grease fitting access on 150 Vmax

Hi gang, I have a problem getting grease into the xert fitting on my 2009 Yamaha 150 Vmax. These are the fittings that are used to lubricate the steering and tilt on the front of the engine. A straight rod on the grease gun won't fit because the steering rod is interferring. A hose won't stay on. I believe a 90 degree angle xert would work but do not know what size thread and xert tip I should order. Anybody know what size these are on the Yamaha outboard? Anybody got any ideas? Thanks Denny
