Yammy F115 services etc

Hi guys, new on this forum so go easy on me!
I have a 2003 F115, I have excellent mechanical knowledge etc but arent an outboard expert.
Questions-
1/ My manual doesnt seem to list changing the impellor as a regular service item, only checking the telltale. Prefer to change it though anyway evry 12-24 months. Do you usually just swap impellors or get a kit with housing etc? Had a look on the parts section and couldnt seem to find kits, only individual parts?

2/ At the top of the fuel rail is a little unit I believe is the fuel pressure regulator, has a small tube coming out of it. What happens if this fails-does it run rough, not at all or cause more problems?

Great outboard, my first 4St, purrs like a kitten (except ya cant even hear it purr sometimes!)

what kind of manual are you talking about?
The Yamaha owners manual should give a list of service that Yamaha recommends or you can look at the stickies at the top of the page to see the services recommended

sorry about the delay replying. I work at sea and coverage is sporadic at times.
The sticky above seems to give slightly different to the handbook but, nevertheless it says along the lines "inspect or replace impellor and housing". But does inspect mean inspect function or strip and inspect? also there doesnt seem to be a kit in the parts section of the bits required, are they only available separately?

Buy the whole kit and replace it all, it's only about $50. Check: SIMYamaha-Andy's Tips, for step by step instructions with photos for water pump replacement, plus several other maintenance/repair procedures, very helpful.
