I have twin 50 TLRB 4 stroke carbed 4 strokes and both motors were recently serviced. My mechanic brought to my attention that the starboard motor may have something clogging the water cooling hose right where it ports into the lower unit. The water pees fine out of the motor when runnning and at idle. My question is, where the water feeds into the lower unit, does it cool any moving parts below or does it just exit in the prop exhaust? I COULD NOT FIND ANY DIAGRAM ON WHERE THE WATER GOES ONCE IT T'S INTO THE LOWER UNIT. My mechanic says it would take quit a lot of hours to pull the upper unit off just to get to this.
