Hey Men hope you can help,
Was re-routeing the wires under my consol last weekend (trying to clean it up) Since then I have no fuel tank reading. I have Yamaha 150 4 stroke and Yamaha multie function gauges (not comand link). Tank Sending unit has Pink and black wire - black to ground bar and I pluged the pink to the red wire comming out of the gauge. Out of the gauge there is (2) blacks, all tieing to ground, (1) red, and (1) white there are some other wires but they are all connected to there matching color. The gauge is blinking on the low fuel bar.
Did I connect to the wrong wire? Is there a way to test the sending tank sending unit and the gauge?
