I'm changinf my trim seals on my 97 150 and the seal # 18 as I was picking it out flew out past my face and landed on the floor. I don't know which way it was sitting in the cap, was the lip supposed to be down or up? The seal has a groove and I can't figure how to fit it in there with it up or down they both appear correct. I can't get my other cap off to check as my spanner wrench won't arrive till monday does anyone know? I included the schematic for the trim assembly and the seal is # 18 seal trim down.
