Hello all, I have a Proline 231 with a 99 Yamaha that I just bought about 2 months ago. I was out on saturday and the engine just stopped working. My main problem was that I ran out of gas. I fueled up and it started up like a champ. I have several questions:
1: the gauge that goes on top of the fuel tank does not work - how can I fix this?
2: the guage that is above the steering wheel does not work either - how can I fix this?
3: does any one have any diagrams for these parts and wires - where can I get replacement parts if needed?
4: my boat came with two gauges
- 1 says Yamaha Speed and it has a fuel icon and two buttons that control - trip, time, batt
- the other gauge says Yamaha Tach which shows the trim or tilt icon with three color icons (green, yellow, red)
I am not sure if any gauges are working as they really don't say anything or I don't know how to read them - any one have a manual for this?
*** Note: I am mixing my gas with my oil at the same time together ***
