hi,i need some advice with a yahaha 50 hp 4 stroke,the temperature alarm is sounding with the engine running on idle after about 4 to 5 minutes,there is a good strong flow of water through the engine,i think the thermostat is not opening,i opened two bolts on the thermostat cover to expose the thermostat,i can see the top of the thermostat and a rubber seal around it,but i cant pull out the thermostat,it wont move,i dont know what i am doing wrong,should the thermostat pull out with a pair of pliars,i am afraid to use too much force,what am i doing wrong,thanks.
