Power Trim / Ignition Issue

I Have a 1995 150 Saltwater Series. The power trim switch at the motor went bad and I replaced it with a new one. When I tried to use it, I heard an electrical crackle sound and now I get no power trim from there or the throttle and also no ignition. I checked al visible fuses and found all to be ok. Is there any hidden breakers or fuses?

Check the fuses on engine not the ones at battery. Check for shorted or pinched wires in control box where you replaced switch.

Check the battery connections at both the battery and the motor to insure they didn't get loose.
