2002 Yamaha 90 2 stroke starting issues please help.

This started all of a sudden this weekend. Turn key on guages respond but engine won't start. To make a long story short if I turn the key on and jump the relay (starter relay?) under the black cover on the right rear side of the engine, it cranks and runs fine. Turn the key of and it shuts down correctly. Occasionaly it will start with the key then goes back to having to jump this relay. Any suggestions. Thanks

Need to check main harness between engine and key switch, check ignition switch, neutral safety switch and fuses on engine.
