Set manual choke to off

I am rigging a 1993 Yam 130 and have controls and everything working except the choke toggle. I noticed in the manual it says "set manual choke to off or the remote choke system will not operate".

It doesn't tell anywhere in the manual how to turn off the manual choke. Anyone know how?

I would think it meant to push the manual choke on the motor itself to the off position
