2003 yamha 4stke valve guide problems

is there any truth that in 2003 the 30 hp 4 strokes had vavle guide issues with over 100 hr motors, ive been informed that this only happend in 2003 can anyone dispell this fact or is there an issue

I haven't had any issues with them.

never heard of that, never saw any code 90 bullitens about it.
however I dont see but a handfull of small motors.
