2005 Yamaha F150TXRD 4 Stroke will start but not by key switch

2005 Yamaha F150TXRD 4 Stroke will start by jumping the relay but not by the key switch. With the key on I can jump the starter and it starts and runs great. If I pull the kill switch lanyard it shuts off and if I try to start with out the lanyard attached the alarm goes off. Turning the key to the start position gives no response, no click nothing. Any ideas?

possibly neutral start switch is bad or miss adjusted
or the key switch is bad
or wiring harness
Or bad connections

stop switch has NOTHING to do with starting.
you may have lost 12V power to the keyswitch,the key switch, the nuetral switch or the start relay.
