2001 hpdi wiring

Looking to buy a 2001 150 hpdi.Its on a stand without any controls and would like to hear it run.We have the battery hooked up and looking at the 10 pin connector and correct me if iam wrong should Ground the black,12 volts to yellow,12 v to brown for cranking and ground the white to shut off. Does this sound right Thanks
