I have a late 80's Yamaha Saltwater Series 150.
A couple of years ago it began to bog at higher RPMs. I had the carbs cleaned dockside (soaked overnight), it completely cured the problem, ran absolutely beautifully.
The exact same symptoms have returned, but the guy who cleaned the carbs for me has moved to Florida.
Can anybody recommend a mechanic who can do a decent job cleaning Yamaha carbs in the NYC area? Contact info would be great. North Jersey, Western CT, Long Island, any and all would be good.
