115 jet to prop

I have a 1991 115TJRP factory jet.With fuel prices always rising,I'm seriously considering switching to a prop.My question is,can any 115 lower unit bolt on or do I have to make alot of modifications to make this work?

The long shaft (20 inch) lower unit will work.

Todo you also have to lower your motor 5 to6 inches and that can be done by removing your transom riser or lowering jackplate,whichever they used when they installed your motor. If you do switch to a prop would you be intersted in selling your pump? i have an 05 f115 4stroke have to find out if it fits,but will wait for reply. good luck what ever you do.
