Yamaha 704 Premium Single Binnacle Control

I have a 2004 model F150 (TXRC) and want to replace the old 704 remote control (top mount) with a new 704 Premium Single Binnacle Control. Will this product work with the older F150? If so, how difficult is it to replace?

@Rodbolt17: Simply for appearance reasons. I had the upholstery redone during the off-season and I have replaced a few other parts (i.e.steering wheel, etc.). Thanks again.
