replacing tiller handle

Broke the handle on my T8 last weekend trying to crank it on to the trailer bunks in the dark. Want to know how big/difficult a job it will be to replace. All controls, wires etc seem to be fine. It's just the metal handle is broke completely through, just above where it 90's across the front of the motor. Trying to weigh my options of tackling myself or taking to the shop. Appreciate any advice, opinions or tips. Thanks.

After a closer look, the aluminum looked like it would take to welding. Got a buddy to do it. Looks good/strong. Might have just delayed a handle purchase.
