change a TUR to TXR

Hi from Greece!

I have a yamaha engine LF225TUR and I must take off the extension so as to transport the engine to LF225TXR. I want you to inform me about which parts I must order so as to fix it.

shift shaft and drive shaft if it has the removable 5" extension.
simple, yet expensive.

Do you know the exact parts which I 'll need ( or their code numbers) and how much they will cost?

can you tell us if its a one piece midsection or is the 5" extension two part?
could be either way.

what about the water tube? I would think that is something that needs replacing also. and does that require pulling power head to install?

depends on the mid section.
some were 2 piece some were 1 piece.
some of the U models,30" shaft, were modified X models,25"shaft.
