I have a f 200 txr the f 225 txr is the same engine according to the yamaha spec sheet, what do I have to do to raise my hp to 225?

it is the same block..but I will bet there are a number of different things that would have to be done to your 200 to get it to 225..My guess is that if your motor runs good..leave it alone and sell it and buy a 225 or go up to a 250 if your boat is rated for it...but you can wait on Rod to respond..he will know for sure. -
for the most part, an ECU change.
however in the US market its against the law.
if you really wish, look at all the pert numbers for ECU,Ex parts and such.
the injectors are the same.Comment
