I had a number of fuel system problems over the years. But recently overhauled the entire system (new tank, lines, filters, cleaned pumps, clean VST etc...). I also sent my injectors off for an ultrasonic cleaning and flow testing and all came back ok. On the first test run, the boat ran like new for about 30 minutes, then developed the shakes and couldn't develop power. Shop said I have a dead fuel injector.
My question is if this is a fluke occurrence, likely caused from past fuel issues that finally caught up to it. Or if I need to be concerned about a problem somewhere else that killed this injector and can potentially cause future injectors to die?
