Yamaha 115 sticky control cables

Hi, the throttle cable on our Yamaha 155 4 stroke outboard (year 2002) is very sticky. I have been advised thata larger diameter cable will improve things - could anyone please advise what cable I should fit (preferably with part number if possible) and where is the best place to get one. Gday Pat did you have any luck with fixing ya problem as im having the same with mine but i believe its the throttle clip where the cable slots in
