your going to have to search the tech bullitens.
I dont have them here at the house and will be gone all next week to Yamaha service training.
why do you think you need the vapor recovery kit? is the normal operating air temp over about 80*F?
do you understand what the kit does and why its installed?

I dont think your fighting a vapor recovery issue.
scroll down some and look at a post, all 3 pages, started by high sierra about his F150.
the vapor recovery, you can read all about it in the tech bulliten, is for hard hot restarts typically in ambient air temps above 85*F.
the reason it was first developed was in hot climates after shu down the vapors from the fuel in the VST would collect in the intake air box creating a very rich mixture after the engine was turned off hot.
this caused a hard hot restart unless the throttles where opened some to allow extra air to compensate for the extra fuel vapors.
there is a tech bulliten that covers this, I dont have it here at home and I wont be at the shop for the next 9 days.
pay close attention in the above referenced post for the ISC,TPS and throttle shutter relationship AND the balancer noise at idle.
it will make noise for many hours before the catastrophic failure.
