I found out that my 2007 25 HP 2 stroke Yamaha outboard comes with no Thermoswitch. For that matter I called Yamaha,and they said none of the 2007 2 stroke came with one.They miss that one..So I would like to know what Thermoswitch can I use with my outboard?Yamaha said I would have get one from another model.

The Model # of my outboard is 25ELR-L-1026368J

how much rigging you wish to try?
myself I would just replace the water pump and t stat every other year and run it.
the CDI does not have a provision for RPM reduction so you would have to mount a horn someplace.
