Need help replacing the tilt/trim switch on a 704 remote. I can not find a schematic of the unit. I don't know how to get it apart and am afraid I might screw something up.

Here is the newer controls, there is a standard or a premium model 704 and a dual engine control. Yamaha Outboard Parts 2005 OUTBOARD RIGGING PARTS BREAKDOWN
If it's older than 1994 use the parts for a 1992 model outboard, Yamaha Outboard Parts 1992 L150TXRQ
to look up parts.
