Throttle Cables

[1985 90HP Yamaha]

Hello all, I am VERY new to the boating world and have a silly question but one I must ask. I have just finished restoring a 1977 Sidewinder and mounted a 1985 90 HP Yamaha on it. My question is ...is there a website where I can see diagrams of how to hook up the Throttle cables from the box to the motor?

What you need is the rigging diagram for your particular model. I was lucky in that mine came with the documentation when I bought my boat new.
Try going to www.yamahapubs.com and see if you can find any rigging instructions for your Yamaha 90.
Use to, Yamaha would let you download owners manuals for free - don't know about now - may have to pay for rigging instructions.
Also, look for the owners manual on your remote control - 704? 703?

extremely easy, all you need are the right length cables and the ends. open the 703 bo, attach both cables with ends on with the circlips. figure which is throlttle and which is gear and attach the at motor, in NEUTRAL. very easy, dont sweat it.
