Check for water in fuel filter on engine(2006 and newer motors had water detection sensor).

2003 model,no water present.i have an in line water trap in the boat as well with a glass bowl which i checked at the time.oil level good and spark plugs good:

If didn't get an alarm or rpm reduction then probably a problem in tach.
