I am in the process of testing a 9.9 2001 Yamaha Outboard 4-stroke. I am not familiar with the workings and the owner is not versed in its operation either. There is no lanyard for the engine stop switch and it has been rigged to run with a wire. My question is, does this model come with a engine shut off or kill ****on or switch? I did not recognize where one would be. I also find this model has a long turning radius on a 14' aluminum flat. Can anything be done to make the turn radius shorter? If you could direct me to a site that has the owners info on this model, I would appreciate it. Thanks for your input.
