spark plug removal

I have a 60hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboard ( 2003). My 5/8 and 18mm sockets will not remove the spark plugs and the 13/16 will not fit. Can anyone help? Thanks. Mark

Take one new plugs to harborfrieght

Match up socket for job. Be sure to hand thread back in or you could mess up threads. Tighten with your hand on top socket wrench will help from over tightening. Really could not be eaiser than outboard with plugs right in front for view. Not a bad idea to spray some deep creep or wd40 on the threads to aid in removing any gunk and towel.
