I just got a new LU on my motor to replace the one that went out due to impact damage. Is there an actual "break-in" procedure that I should follow? The mechanic said there isn't an "true" set of instructions but he said take it easy for the first few hours, and then change the gear lube at 10 hours. Others have said they have never broke-in a LU and others say to do it like a new motor. What's ya'lls take?
