I have a 2004 Yamaha F115TXRC; THE TRIM/TILT STOPPED WORKING AND WAS ONLY CLICKING WHEN I TRIED IT FROM THE CONSOLE AND THE COWLING SWITCH; TESTED THE RELAY AND GET AMERAGE IN BOTH DIRECTIONS; PULLED THE MOTOR WIRES AND TESTED THE MOTOR HOOKED TO A BATTERY WITH LEADS...NOTHING AT ALL. PURCHASED A NEW MOTOR.
WHEN I REPLACE THE MOTOR DO I HAVE TO DRAIN THE FLUID FROM THE SYSTEM FIRST AND THEN REPLACE AND BLEED? IF SO, ARE THERE ANY INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THIS SHOULD BE DONE?
I HAVE A REPAIR MANUAL, BUT IT IS A LITTLE UNCLEAR ON THE PROCEDURE.
