Water Separating Fuel Filter

I am installing new Yamaha 10 micron fuel filters with the
stainless steel heads.
I will need to install elbows and other fittings
before the fuel lines.
What type of thread sealant should I use on these parts?

ive always used teflon tape and never had any issues

pipe connections

try using the black pipe dope as much as posible with e10 gas
teflon breaksdown finer and can cause proplems down the road

While looking into this question,
I also read somewhere that Permatex
makes a product called Aviation Form-A-Gasket No. 3 Sealant,
and that this is good for fuel line connections.
