    Yamaha 2000,f-100 outboard W/carbs
Constant [problems) last winter season in fl. had to have carbs removed twice for cleaning due to engine miss. Problem blamed on bad gas.
had 30 gal fuel tank pumped and no water found. Since then have bought fuel at marina who don't have ethanol in fuel. Also add the new blue stablizer each time I refueled and new water seperator you can drain to see if water in fuel,so far no water found. Stored boat with full tank april 30,2010. Just got boat out of storage today engine missing again, took in for diagnosis. I'm betting another carb. cleaning is comming to the tune of appro. 600.00.
Whats a guy to do to stop this?? I didn't have these problems untill last nov.

If using non-ethanol gas don't use fuel stabilizer formulated for ethanol blended gas. Yamaha's or Mercury's fuel stabilizer works good with non-ethanol gas.
We drain gas out of carbs by loosing drain screw on each carb when engine is being stored for long period.
