I have a 96 200hp yamaha sw series 2 , missing fire on 1,3&5 cylinders, i had mechanic run diagnostics on motor and he indicated that the cdi was bad, changed out unit still no fire. Ohmed charge coil and found the two coils were not balanced,one read 75 ohms the other was 800 ohms. I would like to know if it is possible for the motor to run on three cylinders if the coil is bad? Have gone through carbs, fuel pumps,plugs, moved ign. coils from cyl. to cyl.,problem stays with the same cyls. NEED HELP!!!!
