Hi , I am new to this forum and I had an odd thing happen today. I have a 1990 225 LTE Yamaha engine, As I was winterizing my 225 today the power tilt unit engaged itself and went to the full up position by itself and ran until it tripped the breaker. It did this several times .....has this happened to anyone else? I was actually 25 feet away when it happened and was totally dumbfounded on how this could happen. I did use the switch on the control as well as the switch on the bonnet to raise and lower the engine and was wondering if maybe that bonnet switch was hanging up.....any ideas on where to look or what to do would be huge!
