need help rebuilding carbs on my 1999 90 tlrx

My question is about the "Jet, Needle" . Is there a proper way to install it or an improper way to install it? it has small holes along the side but no real way to tell which one should be on top. my other question is . I just purchase this boat about a year ago and I'm not familiar with yamaha, So I have to know what is the red enrichment switch for on the center carberator?

I cant speak about the jet needle but the red switch is used for emergency starting.
