  • 50 tlr boggs down while throttling up

I have a 2006 50 tlr ,i cleaned the carbs about 3 months ago along with changing the fuel filter and water fuel separator .
I have used the boat four times since while religiously using seafoam in the gas tank, this time around with new plugs and fresh yamalube it started and idled fine then to wide open throttle for about four miles till i got to another idle zone ,when throttling back up it started to bogg down and then stalled ,it done this several times idling rough till i finally babied thru idle then got it to plane out to get back to the ramp, could this be carbs again or possibly sucking air or moisture in the tank?
Got it home run fresh water thru it ....still running rough but did not stall or bogg down.

Check fuel filters for water in fuel, possible have to remove and clean carbs.

It is a sign of a lean condition. Check your fuel system from the tank to the engine, engine to the carbs. Now remove the carbs, make sure you remove and clean the emulsion tubes and the passages that run out of that area, as these are commonly missed areas.
